Texas Public Power

The Texas Power Public Association (TPPA) is an Austin-based trade group representing community-owned electric utilities and public power allied entities in Texas. TPPA serves as an industry advocacy and communication organization as well as a clearinghouse of information for training and technology.

TPPA Mission

To provide service to the membership by facilitating collaboration among the member systems (municipal utilities, joint action agencies, and electric cooperatives), assisting in the solution of mutual challenges, promoting the exchange of ideas and experiences, providing a voice for the Association concerning state and national issues, and operating a resource center for research and technical assistance and promoting a general understanding of public power.
